IMPORTANT: This Itinerary has been arranged specifically for those who want to spend more times to observe and experience the departing of Wildebeest Migration from Serengeti national park in Tanzania to Masai Mara game reserve in Kenya, this is the time where Wildebeest have to go through difficult moment to get to the other side of the river by crossing the Mara river where it has the fiercest and hungry predators ‘The Crocodiles’ in August, September and early October every year.

Day 01: Arrive Arusha.
Distance: 45kms time to drive around One hour.
On arrival you will be picked by our professional driver guide from the airport and transferred to the Lodge.

Day 02-05: Northern Serengeti (Kogatende).
Distance: 440kms time by flight around 1 hours.
Transfer to the airport, fly to northern Serengeti. One of the earth’s spectacular wildlife events takes place every year in the heart of East Africa. The great Migration, culminating at a river crossing where nature coldly decides who lives to see another season. The great migration involving approximately 1.6 million of Wildebeests, 600,000 of Zebras a couple thousands of Thomson and Grant Gazelle and Eland which are killed and eaten by hundreds of predators who follow them behind when the herd pass through their territory. The northern Serengeti is also a beautiful area with its landscape, a vast pristine area of wooded rolling hills interspersed with open grassy patches and large granite outcrops. We trust by having three days in this area will provide plenty of time to explore the entire circuit and see all major yearly events happening there. The great wildebeest Migration which is seasonal for this area is a phenomenon which needs to be observed.

Day 06-07: Central Serengeti National Park
Distance: 220km time to drive around 4-5 hours.
After breakfast, we will drive to Serengeti National Park in the Central Seronera,
This park is well known for its great designed of game drives network through riverine, woodland areas, open and short grassland savannah, rocky or kopjes areas, Central Serengeti also known as Seronera is very well known for healthy stock of resident wildlife, particularly the “Big Five”: Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino, and Buffalo. Serengeti is famous for its incredible wildlife and the Great Migration, visit various zones within the park to maximize wildlife viewing. Seronera or central serengeti is one of Serengeti’s best wildlife viewing area where virtually all resident animals such as Lion, Leopard, cheetah, spotted hyena, jackal, serval, caracal, fox, giraffe, buffalo, topi, hartebeest, waterbuck, elephant, grants and Thomson gazelle, impala, reedbuck, dikdik, hippo, warthog, baboon, velvet monkey hyrax and variety of reptiles and birds can always be seen.
Lions: Serengeti is believed to hold the largest population of lions in Africa due in part to the abundance of prey species. More than 3,000 lions live in this ecosystem.
African Leopard: These reclusive predators are commonly seen in the Seronera region but are present throughout the national park with a population of around 1,000.
Serengeti, a UNESCO world heritage site is home to around 200,000 zebras, and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle joining the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Listen to the exotic sounds of over 6 million hooves pounding the open plains of Serengeti just like how you imagined African wild life to be.

Day 08: Ngorongoro Crater.
Distance: 90kms drive time around 2.5-3 hour to the crater floor
This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. As you near the crater, the road leads to a higher altitude and the air becomes cooler. The view as you reach the crater rim is breathtaking with a vast expanse of the crater floor spread out below. The Ngorongoro crater is often referred to as “Africa’s Eden” or the Eighth Wonder of the World, its unique ecosystem supports a variety of wildlife, including the densest population of lions and other predators such as Hyenas, jackals, serval cats, and Caracals, as well as a large population of flamingos in the crater’s soda lakes. In the crater is the best place to spot the few remaining Black rhinoceros.

Day 09: Drive to Arusha then transfer to airport fly back home.
