Day 03-04: August 2026: Ngorongoro Crater tour then drive to Central Serengeti.
Distance: 26kms drive time around 1.5 hour to the crater floor and 2.5-3hrs to Serengeti from the crater.
This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. As you near the crater, the road leads to a higher altitude and the air becomes cooler. The view as you reach the crater rim is breathtaking with a vast expanse of the crater floor spread out below. The Ngorongoro crater is often referred to as “Africa’s Eden” or the Eighth Wonder of the World, its unique ecosystem supports a variety of wildlife, including the densest population of lions and other predators such as Hyenas, jackals, serval cats, and Caracals, as well as a large population of flamingos in the crater’s soda lakes. In the crater is the best place to spot the few remaining Black rhinoceros. Later in the afternoon transfer to central Serengeti national park.
Serengeti national park is well known for its healthy stock of resident wildlife, particularly the “Big Five”: Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino, and Buffalo.
Lions: Serengeti is believed to hold the largest population of lions in Africa due in part to the abundance of prey species. More than 3,000 lions live in this ecosystem.
African Leopard: These reclusive predators are commonly seen in the Seronera region but are present throughout the national park with a population of around 1,000.
Serengeti, a UNESCO world heritage site is home to around 200,000 zebras, and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle joining the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Listen to the exotic sounds of over 6 million hooves pounding the open plains of Serengeti just like how you imagined African wild life to be.

Day 05-06: 2026: Northern Serengeti National Park
Distance: 220km time to drive around 4-5 hours.
Drive to northern Serengeti. One of the earth’s spectacular wildlife events takes place every year in the heart of East Africa. The great Migration, culminating at a river crossing where nature coldly decides who lives to see another season. The great migration involving approximately 1.6 million of Wildebeests, 600,000 of Zebras a couple thousands of Thomson and Grant Gazelle and Eland which are killed and eaten by hundreds of predators who follow them behind when the herd pass through their territory. The northern Serengeti is also a beautiful area with its landscape, a vast pristine area of wooded rolling hills interspersed with open grassy patches and large granite outcrops. We trust by having three days in this area will provide plenty of time to explore the entire circuit and see all major yearly events happening there. The great wildebeest Migration which is seasonal for this area is a phenomenon which needs to be observed. On the 18th you will have an option of doing a hot air balloon ride in the Northern Serengeti you may get a chance to see the Wildebeest crossing the Mara river from above.
